Abstract
Our mission for Paws for a Cause is to hold an event on March 21, 2020 that welcomes the community to a free event to search and adopt a pet or to simple come enjoy the fun! Paws for a cause will be working with the generous Heartland Human Society from Yankton, South Dakota, and we will be locking arms with the Vermillion Farmers Market as well. We will raise money to hold the event and to donate towards the Heartland Human Society. During the event, our team will have face painting for children, open adoptions, food, and music for the community to enjoy. We are excited to say that this event will be free for the public to attend, and donations are at their own desire! We will be presenting how much we were able to raise for the event, discuss the adoptions, and how the community reacted to this event. It will be a great representation of how the community from Vermillion, and the students from around the world will come together to support the cause for the animals and the amazingly generous organizations.
