Abstract
Introduction:
Pelvic Floor Disorders include issues such as incontinence, or the involuntary loss of urine or stool, or pelvic organ prolapse (POP) where the pelvic organs such as the uterus or the bladder can drop into the pelvic cavity creating pain or bladder/bowel dysfunction.
More than 25 million Americans are affected by bladder or bowel control.
Purpose:
To identify the knowledge a typical high school graduate has about pelvic health norms and determine whether they can identify symptoms that may warrant intervention.
