Abstract
Using a quasi-experimental vignette design, this research compares attitudes of heterosexual and gay male attitudes towards victims of sexual assault. In particular, we examine the classic Illinois Rape Myth Scale with a new scale that challenges heteronormative assumptions. Findings and implications for future research will be presented.
