Abstract
During the alternative spring break trip to Minneapolis and Sauk Centre, MN, AWOL's focus is learning about organizations that serve people impacted by disability. Volunteer opportunities include participating with home projects, games, music, cooking, exercise activities, and more. At Living Well Disability Services, volunteers support individuals based at home that may need extra help with their daily activities and independence. During a visit to Camphill Village, volunteers join a community where people with disabilities can live, work, and care for each other. Through a panel discussion, participants will share their experiences and learning outcomes that impacted them the most throughout this service-learning alternative break.
